Integrated Curriculum

Our Integrated Curriculum

At St Peter’s School, we offer an integrated curriculum that covers a broad range of learning areas, including Health and Physical Education, Humanities (Civics and Citizenship, Economics and Business, Geography, and History), Science, and Technologies (Design and Digital Technologies). Our teachers design curriculum units on a two-year cycle to ensure that all aspects of the Victorian Curriculum are comprehensively covered. This approach allows students to make connections across subjects and engage in meaningful learning experiences.

Victorian Curriculum Capabilities

We also focus on developing essential skills through the Victorian Curriculum capabilities, which include Critical and Creative Thinking, Ethical Capability, Intercultural Capability, and Personal and Social Capability. These capabilities help students become thoughtful, responsible, and engaged learners. By embedding these skills into our teaching, we prepare our students to navigate diverse perspectives and challenges with confidence and empathy.
